This proposal focuses on the ‘Casquinha table and dessert service (80 pieces)’ from 1836.

I emphasise the white and gold contour lines of the plates and platters, which I interpret as a ‘sample of artistic heritage’, in the potential of each image, symbol and object at the service of us all.

Exhibition of Maria II at the Ajuda National Palace and Catalogue Maria II from Brazilian princess to queen of Portugal 1819-1853, in Section 8 - Objects and experiences of the Portuguese court.
